Frames tailored to suit your needs
Every picture tells a story, whether literally or sentimentally, and for this reason we take a personal approach with every customer’s frame. From the outset, we use our extensive framing knowledge and experience to guide you through the design process so that every job can reach its desired potential.
This level of care and attention continues as your job is passed on to our talented framers, who use both traditional and state-of-the-art equipment, as well as artistic sensibility and technical skills, to ensure all frames are completed to the highest standards.
Glass types and mirrors
Every part of a frame contributes to the final appearance of a picture, and none more so than the quality of glass through which the image is seen.
We offer a range of glazing options to cover different needs, including glass with a low-iron content to reduce inherent greens, reduced-reflection and UV protected glass, as well as acrylic options. We are also able to source other materials If a more specific glazing type is needed.
We also provide silvered glass (mirror) that can be used with our frames to make stylish and elegant mirrors – as standard we use 6mm silvered float glass to give the sharpest reflection, but can also offer antiqued silvered and bevel-edged mirror glazing.
If you are looking for something more unique, our sister company, Meaco Woodwork Ltd., can provide custom designs and specialist frames to give that extra special touch.

Have you thought about a mount?
We keep a vast selection of mount colours, textures and thickness’ in our workshop, and with our professional mount cutter we can provide a fast turnaround to those who need mounts cut-to-size in a hurry. We can also offer decorative and shaped apertures, including numbers, letters and symbols.
Mounts can be useful to raise the glass away from contoured artwork, such as thick oil paintings, or used to avoid smudging in the case of unsealed chalk, pastel or charcoal work – and gutter mounts can be used to hide perishable materials that can disintegrate and fall over time.
Even without a frame, a mount can offer a way to make a professional and finished looking product, ideal for those who wish to present a print or picture to be framed later.
Do you have a canvas that needs to be stretched?

We can stretch canvases, cross-stitch (embroidery) pieces and tapestries, and every artwork is handled with the greatest of care to ensure the best result. It is also often possible to remove ripples and indentations from stretched fabrics that may have suffered knocks or damage over time.
Depending on what you are looking for, a stretched canvas can look great either on its own, with a frame or, if you would like to go one step further, even floating inside a tray frame.
We can print on canvas too, so if you have a digital image or piece of artwork you would like to reproduce, visit our Fine Art Print and Scan Services page to find out more.
Our bespoke framing is ideal for:
FINE ART WORK, STRETCHED CANVAS, PRINTS, PHOTOGRAPHS, POSTERS, TEXTILES, EMBROIDERY, CROSS-STITCH, TAPESTRY, CROCHET PANELS, FAMILY COLLAGES, BATIK ART, SILK SCARVES, SHAWLS, CERAMIC TILES, SPORTS MEDALS, MILITARY MEDALS, WAR MEMORABILIA, JODHPURS, BABYGROWS, CERTIFICATES, FIRST SHOES, FOOT-PRINTS and HANDPRINTS, BATCH CORPORATE IMAGES, HOLIDAY MEMORIES, ANCIENT SLIPPERS, SPORTS WEAR, GRADUATION PHOTOGRAPHS, CEREMONIAL SWORDS, ENGINEERING TOOLS, WEDDING RIBBONS, CAR MODELS, AIRPLANE PARTS, and even LIGHT-BOXES for STAINED GLASS…

Nothing is too unusual...
Over the years we have been asked to frame much more than just pictures, including a few things you would not expect to see on display. These challenges have enabled us to develop many unique framing solutions, including light-boxes and acrylic cubes, as well as adapting other themed objects to display the items in relevant ways.
If you have something in mind, a sentimental object or something of value, and would like to find an inventive way to frame it, then we can help.
Whatever it is, there is always an option to give your object pride of place and show off its true potential.
You name it, we’ll frame it! Give us a call now at 01453 836134 or visit our showroom.
